National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA)
Proprietor Mervyn Smith and manager Stan Shaw have both been members of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) for many years. The Association is dedicated to the goal of professionalism within high street estate agency. Its aim is to reassure the general public that by appointing an NAEA member to represent them, they will receive in return the highest level of integrity and service in both sales and lettings. Each NAEA member is bound by a vigorously enforced Code of Practice and adheres to professional Rules of Conduct. Failure to do so can result in heavy financial penalties and possible expulsion from the Association. This as members of this body it assures the standards of professional and code of conduct. |

Mervyn Smith & Co are voluntary members of the Ombudsman Scheme for Estate Agents, so we like to think you can approach us with a sense of confidence and trust. We adhere to a mandatory code of practice which sets service standards above those which legislation alone demands. The scheme is endorsed by the Office of Fair Trading. |

We have been longstanding members of this group of other like-minded independent agencies in the surrounding local area which comprises other estate agents right across Richmond Borough from Sheen through Richmond centre to St Margarets, Whitton, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton and Hampton Wick.
